Splitscreen Studios is working hard on their technology platform, which is a framework for developing rich, 3D massively multiplayer experience at low costs. It’s design loads of technical design problems for game developers. One of our core knowledge is to maintain and expand this technology framework. Our games share more than 60% of their code and they aren’t limited to any genre. It’s designed to be as helpful to design, develop and publish an online poker game, same as a realtime racing game or, event that, a farm game.

- Astonishing 3D visuals: our framework implements, provides new and extends proven rendering libraries that allow to create AAA quality – if needed
- Streaming technology: we keep our applications thin! Our players do not wait for their entertainment, they just play. With one single line of code our games validate, update, download and encrypt resources just in time.
- Desktop-Installer: we compile an automatic installer, that provides everything the user needs to start the game. No dependencies, no libraries needed. Less than 20 Megabytes heavy, downloaded in several seconds.
- Massively Multi-threading: our framework automatically manages multi-threading and distributes game logic to the different cores of your servers
- Linked servers: our system automatically provides the link between multiple servers, called realms
- Effective development: we combine the processing power of C for our rendering algorithm with the unbeaten efficiency of Java for writing game logic. Prototyping for us is not a buzzword.
